What a lovely place! The food was deliciously aromatic, tasty and well priced. The decor is elegant and lifts the experience to a higher level. The staff very attentive, polite, professional and friendly. Although we arrived quite late, they stayed open and made us feel welcome, saying goodbye with a shot of Bailey's. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to come back!

Our first time at The Copper Mahal and my goodness this place did not disappoint. The quality of food was super. The chicken in all the dishes was super moist, tender and delicious. The servers were very knowledgeable about all the dishes and extremely friendly. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy the food and hospitality.

Copper Mahal is honestly the best Indian food we’ve had. We’ve been enjoying takeaways from here for several months, and decided to dine in today for our anniversary. Everything—from the service to the food to the restaurant itself—was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. The food was simply delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented. We’re huge fans of Indian cuisine, and this is by far the best we’ve found in Hampshire. We couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you so much for such a memorable evening!

I recently ordered a takeaway from Cooper Mahal and was thoroughly impressed. It’s not often you find a place that hits the balance of authentic spice and fresh ingredients so perfectly. ​The food arrived hot and the aromas were incredible as soon as I opened the packaging. I ordered Chicken Tikka , Lamb Rogan josh and some sides , and you could really taste that it was cooked with care rather than just a generic base sauce. The meat was tender and juicy, and the spices were well-balanced—flavorful without being overpowering. ​The Peshawar Naan was another highlight—freshly baked and soft, exactly how it should be. It’s clear the kitchen here values quality; the portions were generous and everything tasted fresh, not greasy like some other places. ​If you’re looking for a proper, high-quality Indian meal in Andover, I highly recommend giving them a try. Excellent service, great value, and the best "yummy" food I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!
