Dr Shawarma

Our local shawarma place! A selly oak student experience must! I remember when they first opened and everyone was exctied to try it, needless to say, has become a staple for many students who had a rough day (or night). Staff are friendly and get straight on it, tho the food takes a bit of time to come out (like a long time), super reliable meal! Would recommend the meat shawarma meal (the chips are so good) and garlic sauce!

The best chicken shawarma I’ve ever tasted. Chips are very nice too, salad, sauces, naan bread. Perfect combination. Wonderful staff made the experience even better. Thank you.

Was starving and decided to try out this place after driving past it quite a few times. Ordered lamb chops, meat skewers and lamb shwarma wrap. 1. Shawarma was below average 2. Meat skewers were soggy and didn’t seemed grilled. Tasted more like a meat curry without spice and flavour. 3. Lamb chops were tasteless and bland with no seasoning. 4. Customer service was terrible, especially the guy slicing the shwarma named Mustafa 5. No seating available, not very welcoming 6. No parking available 7. Prices high for a take away , not cost effective 8. Altho no fries were ordered with our dish, the guy serving added in both boxes with less meat, less rice and less salad.

I can’t complain about the food is really delicious but the service is very bad always keep waiting for so long even for collection they don’t prepare the order in time also my order always missing I don’t recommend it for anyone
