One of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The beef shin was tender, the garnish punchy with flavour, the taco shells were an ideal size and sturdy - managed to keep them more or less in tact until the last couple bites! It’s just a shame I don’t live locally otherwise it would be a frequent favourite for sure. 10/10 would recommend.
Delicious sandwiches! We had a Silence of the limes, a Heart and Seoul, and an order of regular fries (more than enough with one portion for two 😁). Crispy and juicy chicken, tasty (not spicy), kind and helpful service!
Finally got the chance to visit Chamo, one of the hip stalls in Abingdon Street Market which serves South American street food (tacos, arepas, empanadas, croquettes etc). We tried their sharing platter which consists of the following: 》Berebe Beef Tacos | Braised beef chuck, chipotle mayo, cheese sauce, chimmichurri, pico de gallo, pickled red cabbage, crispy onions, chives 》Mojo King Prawn Tacos | King Prawns, Lime and black pepper aioli, pico de gallo, chimmichurri, pickled red cabbage, spring onion, chilli & mojo 》Buffalo & Korean Boneless Wings 》Cheesy Tater Tots 》Loaded Waffle Fries Happily stuffed our faces with Chamo's tasty items from the robust tacos (packed to the brim with tender meat and juicy prawns), loaded waffle fries and cheesy tater tots to their hearty boneless wings - everything was so satisfying and delectable. Their tacos were so moreish with its meaty filling, complimented by the other elements on them like the chimmichurri, pico de gallo, pickled red cabbage, crispy onions & yummy sauces. The fries and tater tots were quite addictive, certainly ideal for sharing. They have other outlets in Preston (Moor Lane and Chews Yard), plus one in Dubai. Please do give them a try if you're in the area, I highly recommend it.
Fast. Well cooked. The beef was nice and tender making soft being complementary to the crunch of the shell of the tacos. The tater tots were magnificent with a crispy outside paired well with the salt. Highly recommend to anyone who comes here.
Food was so good. Don’t miss out on it when you go to abingdon street! Chicken tenders are SO good, especially the heart and seoul ones. We also had loaded fries with the beef shin and the tater tots with the jerk chicken. Both were absolutely banging. Owners really nice 🙂🙂
