Lovely little tea room, nicely busy, good staff, food is very tasty, very good portion sizes, very comfy chairs, I have visited twice with my daughter, we will visit again. The soup was great, bread soft and again a very good portion sizes.

We had a lovely experience with our puppy at the Lavender Tea Room. The food was delicious and at decent prices, the staff are amazing, especially Hilda who made a birthday breakfast and afternoon tea a magical experience. Thank you Hilda.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated, waited a further 50 minutes for our food arrive, we only ordered a BLT and a cheese on toast and when it did arrive it was very dry, bland and bacon was massively overcooked. We then waited another 10 minutes at the till to pay our bill. Not very good for a quiet Tuesday afternoon - would not recommend I’m afraid.

Had a fantastic afternoon tea (for lunch today). We each had a full round of sandwiches (each quarter sandwiches had a different filling), crisps, quiche, salad, coleslaw, slice of Victoria sandwiches plus a fruit scone with butter, jam and clotted cream. Too much for me but the staff fetched boxes for us to take leftovers home. We each had our own pot of tea which was re-filled for us. The staff were very attentive. And the price.... less than £13 each (the same price as quiche, new potatoes and salad). Would definitely recommend.

Beautifully cooked Sunday lunch today 1 roast beef & 1 salmon in parsley sauce accompanied by some lovely fresh vegetables including cauliflower cheese - bonus the sauces were Gluten Free 👍 There was also a Gluten Free dessert 😊 Very cosy and comfortable and accompanied by great music and singing by Bev as she was working 😊 Natalie and Bev are very efficient and work hard to make sure everyone is happy with their meals 10/10 🌟
