Star of India

I visited this restaurant recently and wanted to share some honest feedback so it can be helpful for improvement. The chicken biryani was quite average and lacked flavour, and the curry didn’t taste as fresh as expected. The seekh kebab was unfortunately very dry and didn’t seem fresh at all. I couldn’t eat more than a bite. I genuinely hope the team can work on the taste and quality, because the place has potential. This visit wasn’t great for me, but I hope to see improvements in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We ordered a large company takeaway from Star of India, and it was outstanding from start to finish. The food arrived on time, was hot, fresh, and packed with flavour. Every meal was clearly prepared with care, and there wasn't a single complaint from anyone in the team. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and the service made organising a large order completely hassle-free. It's not easy to keep everyone happy with a big company order, but Star of India absolutely delivered. We'll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended for both individual meals and large group takeaways!

Awful service and below par food. Ordered Rajhastani Chicken tasted like chicken cooked in ketchup. Tandoori Bread was stale had to order another one. Not recommended if you’re looking for authentic Subcontinent food!!!

Was in the star of indian again tonight and as ever the food was superb and the service second to none. As the song says simply the best 😀 Always great service and food. I see another award has been won by Daz and the staff, well done folks. It remains my favourite restaurant in the town. I just noticed another away for 2019 Just had my first india post the Covid-19 events. The Star of India was an good as ever. Well done Daz and the team!
