Palacio Lounge

15/03/26 : Dropped in to check the place out for food later during our stay, decided to have a pint & a pot of tea. The beer was ok, the tea tasted somewhat rank, maybe it was the teabag or the water, it was just off. Also we felt a bit uncomfortable during the visit, I finished my pint, we discarded the tea & left, we did not return for food, choosing to dine elsewhere. What a shame as we use a lot of the Lounge Bars as we travel the UK & have had some amazingly meals & drinks, where good lunches turn into great evenings, but this Lounge has been our least favourite one so far. Sorry about the honest review of our visit & experience, these are our opinions, you will have to make your own if you visit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐| Amazing food, tiny flaw! The food here was absolutely amazing—every bite was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. Honestly, top-tier quality and great taste all around! 🤤 Only small downside: the cheesy chips I ordered were a little too creamy for my liking. The flavour was still great, but the creaminess level was just a touch over the top. Still, I’d absolutely come back and recommend it—minor thing, didn’t ruin the meal at all! 👍

Fabulous restaurant where you can order at the bar or via the website, using the link on the QR code found on a table. Ordering via the QR code is easily done, although there is the opportunity to tip at checkout stage before you've experienced the food and service to make a decision on tip worthiness.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Palacio Lounge, Falmouth today. When I ordered a vanilla iced coffee, I was shocked to find ants in my drink. While waiting at the bar for my refund, I observed very poor hygiene standards. Milk cartons left open without lids, a banana peel discarded on the counter and dirty jugs left out. None of this was cleaned or dealt with in the 15 minutes I stood there waiting for the manager. Despite the establishment not being busy at all. What made matters worse was the manager’s attitude. She did not acknowledge me at all, even though I was clearly waiting right in front of her. Instead, she handed a till key fob to her colleague without saying a single word to me. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional. The only positive part of my visit was the lovely waitress who served me and processed the refund. She was very apologetic, kind, and professional – a real credit to the team. As a local customer who frequently visits with friends and family, I am very disappointed by today’s experience and deeply concerned about the hygiene practices I witnessed. Standards have clearly slipped, and I will think twice before returning.

A lovely setting that has been decked out very well and made great use of the space. My only pueve is we ordered a drink on the app, even paid a tip for the table service and it never came. After 15 minutes gave up and trekked downstairs to get it myself. If I am paying for table service and a tip on top, I shouldn't be collecting my own drinks. Food was very good though.

Good food at a reasonable price, if you want something other than burgers and chips. This is the place to go!! Some outdoor seating, large seating areas indoors on two floors Very dark interior, but pleasantly decorated as was an old bank We sat outside in our first visit and indoors on our second visit!! Friendly, helpful staff and unintrusive music playing. Seems popular with students at certain times of the day. So if you want somewhere quiet, maybe this isn't the place to go

Great friendly service. Could really do with a baby changing place upstairs. Food ok, but quite pricey for a spec kitchen. That said there is a good range for dietary requirements.
