Regal

The regal got recommended to me when visiting the area and it did not disappoint. The food menu was varied and very reasonably prices. Very good portion sizes and a good selection of drinks.

Visiting from Spain for the Ipswich v Boro match (sadly Ipswich robbed us with a dodgy penalty and it finished 2-2), so I have to have the type of foods I can’t get in Spain. Tick-box number 1 is of course Fish and Chips. Service was very good and friendly, and we didnt wait long for a table. My eyes are usually too big for my belly so given I fancied a chip butty I dropped down to a small cod which was large enough. My friends had the medium and it would have been too big. Accompanying the fish and chips was a curry sauce. I’ve certainly had better fish but given it had been a long time 🕰️ was more than happy.

15 of us turned up last Sunday afternoon, 10 adults & 5 children, they seated us straight away. The lady that served us was very helpful & friendly, I didn't catch her name but she loved to chat to us. She took all 15 orders, and they all came out at the same time . Excellent service. I paid the bill & unfortunately I forgot to leave a tip. So I went back today and she wasn't working, but explained to another girl about our wonderful experience & great food & left the tip which i had forgotten. Definitely go back for a meal

Brilliant place, clean and tidy, service was very friendly, great menu choice and the food was exceptional. The price was also good. Just one complaint there was just to much food to eat. But most certainly would return

Came all the way from Germany to experience this amazing meal! Cod and chips was fresh and hot. Delicious 👍
