The Malletsheugh

I had been kindly gifted vouchers as part of a birthday gift and decided to use them yesterday for lunch. I did book in advance as it is advised. Lucky we did as even on a Monday lunchtime it was quite busy. For a busy Monday lunchtime the atmosphere was warm and calm. The staff were welcoming, quick to take your order and good at checking in to see all is well. There was a wide variety of really great music playing in the background. We had three courses which we just about managed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were not waiting any time at all between courses. I loved that you could see which desserts were available as they are on display through a glass cabinet. The decor is beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Although this was our first trip we will definitely be visiting again!

First time visiting and had been told it was very popular and busy but didn't expect it to be as busy as it was. Had to wait in the bar for our table but it was only 5mins which was fine but being so busy meant it was really noisy. It did settle as people moved on and we could chat at a decent level. The food was amazing so actually no need to chat as we savoured the taste sensation. Fussy teen even tasted some of our Indian food which he liked so a plus there! Love the fact that menus can be mixed. Lovely decor and very nice, attentive staff. Overall a lovely dining experience and food was delicious.

Came after the amazing reviews. However if you want actual good Indian food, not the one for you. Tried around 10 dishes, struggled to find any above greasy takeaway standard, if that. Nice place to sit, staff were very attentive, so that was nice. None of us will return however.

Apart from the fact that the food is exceptional, all the staff are polite, efficient and extremely professional 👌. The service is second to no other restaurant I know. The choice of two menus means it's an excellent venue for everyone. Our 5th time here and I live 20 miles away. I have recommended it to all my friends and those that decided to go rave about it as much as I do. Well done Malletsheugh 👏 ✔️

The best curry variance and quality in and around Glasgow. The portion sizes are excellent and all dishes were fresh and plated perfectly. The servers were friendly and the restaurant is spotless. Definitely a personal favourite of 2026 this far. Will be returning soon to try the mixed grill which looked out of this world.
