Côte Guildford

We loved our two course dinner at Côte in Guilford. The team were very friendly and attentive. The set menu deal was absolutely excellent value for money. The food was soooo good. We really enjoyed it alot. The wine was so delicious too. Highly recommend it. We will be back.

I recently dined at Côte Brasserie and had the steak frites, seafood linguine, and pan fried salmon. Overall, it was about a 3.5 out of 5 experience for me. The food was decent and nicely presented, though nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was enjoyable, just not something I would rush back specifically for. The atmosphere was lively, though it was quite loud where we were seated due to a large group nearby. That’s not necessarily the restaurant’s fault, but it did make conversation a bit difficult at times. Still, it’s a pleasant spot in Guilford and a solid option if you’re in the area.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout my visit. The food was delicious, well-presented, and arrived promptly. What made the experience truly special was the kindness shown by the manager and the team. As I was celebrating a special occasion on my own, the manager generously offered my coffee on the house, which was a thoughtful and touching gesture that really made my day. Overall, it was a memorable visit, and I left feeling genuinely appreciated and well looked after.

Another visit to Cote for lunch, this time with friends. Again we were warmly welcomed and seen to our table. Fantastic venue for lunch with friends. The service was as expected quick with and staff always attentive. We were given time to peruse the menu. Food again was excellent. From previous visit I loved the sea bream. So, all five of us ordered Grilled Sea Bream that was served with sun-dried tomato butter, olive salsa vierge, sauteed tarragon new potatoes. We also had broccoli as well as spinach as side dishes. All were cooked to perfection. I had pistachio creme brûlée while my husband had the creme caramel. Both were delicious and the right portion. I would highly recommend this place. Be sure to book ahead as it was fully booked yesterday.

Really good place to meet with your friends. I celebrated my birthday with a small group of friends, the staff gave us the place from the corner, the atmosphere is also remember it to me French little restaurants, nice music. The staff is really attentive and quick in service. Also they congratulate me with little cake with candle. Really appreciate it. I will must come back to French onion soup!! Thank you🫶🏻

Really good value £10 dish. Really delicious. Services are good and felt very welcoming.

Ad hoc Friday night supper, we love the new menu and had the whole chicken for two and various sauces. The chicken was sublime, moist, tender and had a wonderful flavour. Also took advantage of the happy hour drinks, a 175ml glass for £5, what’s not to like!
