The Guildford Townhouse

We had a civil wedding reception on Wed 3 June. We were looked after superbly by Iza. The party was for 11. She worked single handedly and was totally accommodating and interacted with everyone. Service was faultless!! A very valuable member of your staff, could not have asked for more. Thank you again Iza.

I recently dined at Coppa Club and had a really pleasant overall experience. I ordered the moules mariniere, extra fine beans, braised ox cheek, and the aged grass fed steak. The food overall was just okay, not bad but not particularly memorable either. That said, the braised ox cheek stood out and was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was very tender, rich, and full of flavor. I would recommend that as the best option from what we tried. Where Coppa Club really shines is the ambiance and service. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely great throughout the meal. While the food may not have completely wowed me this time, the setting and service make it a lovely place to spend an evening.

I wouldn’t go again for breakfast! The muffins on my scrambled eggs were rock solid! I also had to wait along time for a waiter I had to get up and ask the waiter to order some food! Not the best experience.

Lovely spot in Guildford, with really nice interiors, super friendly staff, and the food is fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our experience at Coppa Club Guildford! The food was genuinely delicious, everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. What really made the evening special though was the incredible staff — so friendly, welcoming and genuinely attentive from start to finish. A special mention to Iza, who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel looked after. You can tell the whole team really cares about creating a great atmosphere. Such a lovely place for a meal, drinks, or a special occasion. Can’t wait to come back!

I paid £25.50 for a steak which was so tough the steak knife would not cut it. I complained and the waitress asked if I would like another one or the cost taken off the bill. I asked for another one which was ok however it meant I had to eat my meal after the rest of my party had finished. I received an apology but I would have thought a small gesture such as a free sweet dish or cocktail would have gone some way to regain my confidence. No waiter visited the table during our meal to ask if everything was ok.

We had an amazing Easter lunch as a family. Amazing food, service and ambience. Definitely, we'll be back soon. Pet friendly!
