Rated this eatery '5' as it well deserves so. Even though we just had a main, the food was excellent. Well prepared and presented. Staff were excellent and friendly, easy to talk to and offered advice when asked for. The building itself is marvellous, so spacious and bright. We'll worth a visit, highly recommend

Went for a meal with my wife and friends. Incredible building, it has a amazing atmosphere . The food was very tasty and good portions. Our waitress Vicky was friendly and very attentive. If you are in Harrogate I can definitely recommend the Royal Baths Chinese. I can't imagine having a Chinese meal in such surroundings as there.

We visited on a Saturday evening as part of a weekend birthday celebration and had a genuinely lovely meal. The staff were friendly and happy to provide recommendations from the extensive menu - their advice was excellent! The food was spectacular with good portion sizes and a wide selection to suit all tastes at a very reasonable price. I would strongly recommend the dim sum!

A lovely dining experience in a beautiful historic setting. The food was delicious, especially the chef’s special crispy prawn dish, and the service was excellent. What made the visit even more memorable was the location inside the historic Royal Baths, a Grade II listed Victorian building that opened in 1897 as part of Harrogate’s spa heritage. The architecture, atmosphere, and warm hospitality made the experience feel truly special. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Royal Baths Chinese restaurant! The food is honestly the best Chinese food I have ever had. Everything is always fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is stunning and has such a lovely atmosphere. The service is incredible every single time we visit. All of the staff are amazing, but especially Manish and Leah who always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. They are so welcoming, attentive and genuinely make the experience extra special. My boyfriend is vegetarian and he absolutely loves their vegetarian chicken dishes, which says a lot because it can be hard to find really good vegetarian options at some restaurants. Could not recommend this place enough!

We celebrated my birthday at the Royal Baths Chinese restaurant in Harrogate. Having been before we were looking forward to an excellent meal. The actual building is amazing and historical. The food was really good as usual, but we were a little disappointed at the quantity of the hors'doerves starters we ordered. There were only 2 prawn toast ( we have always had 4 pieces everywhere else ) and only 3 small BBQ spare ribs ( usually get 5 or 6 ) Having said that the food was really tasty. For the main course we had a crispy prawn dish & a duck dish with special fried rice which was all excellent. For dessert I had 2 scoops of ice cream which were huge, & my wife had chocolate banana rolls with ice cream which she couldn't finish. The service throughout was excellent and we enjoyed our evening. Just a shame about the starters !! Still one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in the country and we will be back soon.

Absolutely incredible! Lovely staff and service. The food was out of this world! One of the best Chinese meals we've ever had. We had the mixed starter to begin- the spring rolls and skewers were particularly delicious. The roast duck cantonese for main was so, so tasty! Also, the place is absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean.
