I had an absolutely amazing experience at YumYum Kurdish Restaurant in Hull. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was simply outstanding – full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and you can really taste the care and quality in each dish. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend YumYum to anyone looking for delicious Kurdish cuisine in Hull. I’ll definitely be returning!

Naan breads are freshly made in the tandoor but by the time we got home it was like chewing cardboard. I got a chicken and lamb doner wrap. The chicken was edible, but the meats were the scrapings left at the bottom of the donor spit, not freshly carved. Again when we got home 20 mins later it was cold (not their fault) and the fat around the lamb was white and looked like lard surrounding the scraps of lamb This was generously filled with salad which is fresh and tasty. Asked for garlic yoghurt but got some strange mayo thing that I can't describe the taste and weird texture. Ordered a portion of fries, but even these were not good at all. Typical frozen takeaway fries (which I normally ain't bothered about) but we're straight out of the fryer into takeaway wrapping. No salt, seasoning just plain boring fries that tasted of nothing. I understand that the menu is very competitive with pricing, but when you hardly eat any of it then it's not good.

Went once; got charged a difference price from everyone else because i assume i looked Caucasian. Won't frequent places with pricing like that. Made £3 extra off me today will make £0 off me ever again.

6 pound for a chicken shawarma, with chips, soup and a bottle of water! An absolute bargain.
