Golden Grill Restaurant

Really affordable arab/ turkish restaurant and only cost ~£7 a head when I went with 2 friends. The guys there are extremely caring and we received free-of-charge bread, soup and drinks. Food there is fantastic and the baklava which we shared between us was incredible! Would definitely recommend to anyone that is into the culture/ cuisine!

This was our second time eating here. The first time we ordered fish, and it was far too salty. This time we ordered the lamb qozi, but there was hardly any meat. If they had run out of the proper dish, they should have told us instead of serving it anyway. We even mentioned that it wasn’t good, and the staff member just said, "Sorry," but that didn’t make any difference. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience again, and it will be our last visit.

We recently visited the Golden Grill Restaurant with our family for dinner. The interior of the restaurant was nice and clean, however the overall experience was about average. Even though we had ordered soft drinks, when we asked for tap water, they said it wasn't suitable for drinking. They said they only serve bottled water. This was surprising because they were using the same tap water for cooking. The service was okay. While we had to prompt them for missing cutlery, they did correct things quickly. In terms of food - they served a good portion of bread, the chicken shawarma was very greasy, chicken tikka was dry and tastless, and the Adana kebab tasted good. Overall, the food quality and service need some improvement.

Wonderfull food, freshly cooked, we had to wait, but boy was it worth it. Service was brilliant, friendly, helpful staff. Definitely worth another visit. Restaurant was clean, chairs comfortable, toilets were clean.

Very disappointing experience today. The food was of very poor quality and not acceptable. We informed the staff, but they neither replaced the dish nor offered any discount or apology. I expected much better service and won’t be returning unless this is addressed

Me and my boyfriend stumbled upon this place when looking for something to eat one lunchtime and now it’s our favourite! You get so much food for your money and it’s all delicious with so many extras and sides thrown in - such great value for quality food! All the staff are lovely too 😊
