Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed during my visit. Firstly, my order wasn’t as described on the menu, the bread was meant to be sourdough, but it wasn’t. If sourdough wasn’t available, that’s completely understandable, but this wasn’t communicated to me. Secondly, the café has been advertising a "free coffee with a breakfast order" offer throughout March on social media. However, the staff member serving me didn’t seem aware of the promotion, which meant I had to wait to pay while it was checked. This felt a bit surprising given we’re already well into the month. It’s a shame, as I’ve previously enjoyed a cake from here and I do appreciate that it’s dog-friendly. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning for breakfast.

Had an absolutely amazing lunch here today. Knowledgeable staff, who were attentive and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and the children were welcomed. It's even dog friendly 😊 we will definitely be back. Thank you team TFG xx Pictured is the ham and cheese panini and the winter board 😋 X

We recently stopped in for breakfast. We were welcomed kindly and seated in the bar area. Our order was taken promptly and the coffees arrived quickly after. The menu was extensive and caters for every need. Our food arrived in good time and was delicious. We were checked upon and offered anything else. After we finished our food our table was cleared, we asked for the bill and left happy and full ready for our long trip home to Cornwall. We will return when we visit family this year. Definitely recommend.

Lovely friendly bar whether it's lunch, live music in the evening or just a quiet drink it's always welcoming

A wonderful place to sit and relax with a coffee or a meal and drink. Hadleigh has so many opportunities for dog walkers close to the centre and to have a dog friendly café close by is a real treat. A cycle ride there will be my next endeavour! There are areas where you can safely put bikes while you enjoy the freshly prepared food and admire the interesting architecture of the building.
