Bombay Bistro

It was a very pleasant experience as all the servers were extremely friendly. All the different curries and starters that we had were splendid. Overall I would recommend this to anyone visiting or looking for a good Indian restaurant.

Had 3 starters, and Indian beer on tap. Main couse was the lamb cooked with pumpkin. Outstanding. Suggest looking over menu before you arrive. Hugh selection. Great service. I walked in with no reservation.

Wow 🤯 what a beautiful meal we had here today! We were early but accommodated immediately, the staff were friendly and really attentive and the food was delicious 😋 so much flavour without blowing your head off with spice! Well made fresh dishes. Definitely one of the best Indians I've been to in a long long while!

We had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Bistro in Kendal, and it was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly and very attentive making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was lovely, with a rich variety of flavours. Each dish was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The ambience of the restaurant was inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions Overall, I highly recommend Bombay Bistro for anyone looking to enjoy some Indian food in Kendal.

Honestly the tastiest curry we have ever eaten. Ever. We over ordered, having a bit of everything, and every dish was delicious, well balanced and complex. Truely outstanding. All the front of house staff are friendly and helpful. This is our new favourite spot. Can't wait to come back

Exceptional service, incredible food and very pleasant atmosphere. We came to Kendal for the weekend and visited Bombay Bistro as a walk in on a busy Friday and they managed to book us in, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too and very reasonable pricing for portions. You must try the biryani, I’ve had many biryanis in my time, and it’s really hard to get the right balance of flavours, but the mixed biryani was gorgeous. We had a mix of starters and sides and they were all flavourful and cooked perfectly, they also have a good selection of beers/wines, and they have the thin stem wine glasses (if you know you know, a good wine is served in a thin stem). The service was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our experience, if you have a couple days in Kendal, you must visit, worth every penny.
