Pearl River Restaurant

We visited Pearl River in King’s Lynn last week with a group of friends and had a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely superb – every dish was fresh and full of flavour. The service was equally impressive, with friendly, attentive staff who made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and everything ran smoothly despite us being a group. It’s easy to see why Pearl River has such a good reputation. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent Chinese food in King’s Lynn.

The best Chinese buffet around. We went last week for a birthday meal and after the amazing food, the staff bought ice cream out and sang to the birthday boy. We've been here many times, all the food is fresh and the staff are wonderful. The picture is of our first round of starters! Absolutely incredible 😲

We visited a few weeks ago and the experience wasn't great. We were told it was because they were unexpectedly busy so we thought we'd try again to see how it is the second time. Unfortunately the service was rough, the staff seem to have strange attitudes, and the vegetarian food was nothing special. The main courses all appeared to be the same base meal with different sauces and spices added, although we ordered a range of meals we felt we were eating the same off all the plates. It was also peculiar how they either over served or under served quantities and when we asked for more they were notably disgruntled and unhappy about it even though their offering is buffet style to the table. That all said it must be difficult running a food business these days and we wish them well, but would suggest they might want to improve their service levels in order to attract repeat customers.

There aren't many order off the menu Chinese buffet restaurants but this one does that in spades. Large selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Starters and entrée courses can be ordered multiple times and then served fresh to the table. Then move on to the mains and choose from dozens of dishes which are all freshly prepared and brought to the table rather than queuing up at a buffet. Large selection of drinks including great cocktails and mocktails. Spacious inside. Wonderful attentive staff, who came promptly when ordering. Highly recommend as this is a fun concept restaurant and great fit groups, families, couples alike.

came here for the first time with my partner as we saw they offered a veggie and vegan buffet which is super hard to find, and we were NOT disappointed! each and every dish was cooked to perfection with such gorgeous flavours, the variety of dishes for both of our diets was amazing, the portion sizes were perfect as they left enough room to try multiple dishes on the menu, it’s amazing value for money and well worth paying for the experience, and to top it off the staff were absolutely lovely (especially our main waitress Alisha who was extremely accommodating for us!). highly recommend this place to all, we can’t wait to come back! 🤍
