Customer Reviews
HERA has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 1598 reviews on Google
Lovely ambience and decor, especially the outdoor seating and covered patio area. Excellent food. Peach and Halloumi was very tasty. And the Mousaka and Truffle Pasta were truly delicious! Service was a bit non-chalant and brusque in the beginning which was a bit off-putting in such a lovely environment. Service improved after we placed the order. Would recommend that the waitresses are given better training in welcoming and acknowledging guests and show interest in being of service. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we visited, so the serving staff really should have been more attentive...
Absolutely loved my experience at Hera. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully presented, full of fresh flavours, and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive; the staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place for anything from a casual dinner to a special occasion. If you’re looking for amazing Greek food, great hospitality, and a beautiful setting, Hera is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back!
Wow , this place is amazing for Greek food. The staff are so attentive & really make your experience enjoyable. The food was unreal. We came before ABBA voyage, as did many others in the restaurant. Alex was our waiter - he was fantastic.
Visited HERA for lunch and had a really good overall experience. It’s a halal Mediterranean restaurant with a great-value lunch menu at £13.90, offering quite a few options, so it feels very worth it considering you only need to pay the service charge on top. The restaurant itself is really nice aesthetically, very relaxing, quiet, and has a lovely atmosphere if you want somewhere calm to enjoy lunch. The food was good, and the variety on the lunch menu makes it a great option if you’re looking for something affordable but still a bit more elevated than your average lunch spot. The only slight downside was the service. The waitress didn’t come across as particularly warm or welcoming and wasn’t very smiley, which did affect the first impression a little. That said, despite that, I still had a positive experience overall and would recommend it, especially for the value, halal options, and peaceful ambience. I had the chicken penne pasta and we had the sharing hummus with pitta as part of the lunch menu. Very tasty. Their main menu items look very dear and have seen reviews they are really pricey for what you get so I would only recommend the lunch menu which is a bargain!
Food was great, everything was tasty and good portions. Classic Greek dishes you'll recognise and there is a wide variety of pasta, vegetarian and mean options. Staff were all lovely and the service was very good. Cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced in flavour. Would definitely recommend and will visit again! Bit pricey but it's not your quick lunch kind of spot, the decor is luxe and it would be a great place for a special occasion.
Gluten-Free safe. Absolutely amazing meal. The cod was buttery soft. The shrimp pasta was among my favorite pasta dishes ever. Greta ambiance. GF-safe (including GF pita) was a huge plus for my wife. Thank you!
such a beautiful luxury dining spot, with gorgeous interiors and a lovely atmosphere, truly where greece meets london 🇬🇷✨ we started with the fluffy fresh bread and rich olive oil, followed by the halloumi & grilled peach and smoked aubergine, both beautifully presented and full of flavour. the moussaka was rich with a slight sweetness, while the lamb shoulder had lovely flavours and textures, although it could have been a little softer. for dessert, the galaktoboureko had a lovely hint of lemon, but the ekmek kataifi was my favourite, soft, fluffy, comforting and delicious. overall, a lovely dining experience and would definitely return!
