Mora Meza Bar & Restaurant

Had a nice meal here with friends on a Saturday evening in early march. On arrival the table wasn’t ready so we waited in the back room for a couple of minutes. I think it’s used for events like karaoke. We ordered a bunch of meze to start with and was tasty. The prawn, hummus and halloumi. For the main I ordered the lamb chops which were tasty. My friends ordered the mixed grill thing called a Mashawi mix. That was also tasty. We ordered the wine which was recommended by the telegraph (on their menu) but they didn’t have it so was substituted for another wine. To be honest that wasn’t great. Also asked for a frangelico as they had a bottle behind the bar (to go with Bailey’s) but it had run out. To be fair the waitress went out to see if they local shop had a bottle but it’s niche and they didnt. So poured an amaretto and baileys instead. Which is a different drink entirely. Cheesecake was nice! It’s a family run place and we had a good night so don’t be put off. It’s still fun and tasty. I’d go again.

Had a 10 person dinner here on a scorching evening and they were very accommodating. Always friendly and go the extra mile unprompted. They had fans and portable a/c directed at our table and provided us with slices of watermelon which was really a great touch considering the heat. The food is great especially considering the reasonable price and they even chilled the beer glasses which is just A star service ! Will definitely come back and recommend to all I know! Thanks again for having us!

We had a brilliant evening: my partner and I. The food is wonderful: fresh, hot, and very tasty: chicken pieces grilled with rice and vermicelli, grilled halloumi, hummus, fattoush and wonderful fresh kibbeh. Great selection of drinks (we had cider and campari w/soda). The place has appropriately attentive service and is warm, with great Lebanese music. And the pricing is very reasonable. 5/5 all around. We have been here once before and it is better than ever.

Very sad experience!! Ordered food via their restaurant, waited 1 hour. Then reluctantly got in my vehicle got to the restaurant to see what had happened to my order. Only to find out that this restaurant is closed. Online the restaurant is open. I have pictures to prove it. So my meal that consisted of two items for £19.95 Has been deducted out of my card and I have no dinner And no money. I have called them four times no answer!! Extremely disappointing !!!

Always have a lovely meal here as one of our local spots. Food is always very tasty and the service is always friendly.
