Selekt Chicken

The chicken is second to none in the local area. Fresh, crisp, juicy, spicy, delicious. Delivery always comes in under 1 hour.

Ordered a few times. Quality is inconsistent. Sometimes delivered on time, lovely food, arrives freshly cooked still hot. Other times, food is delivered VERY late and cold. Tonight after waiting for 90 minutes I phoned to be told they never received the order despite the payment being taken from my bank account. Won’t order again!

Took over 2 hours for delivery, chicken strips were very chewy, luckily we got fewer than we ordered. The 1 star is for the can of Tango and Diet Coke

Really rough looking shop. Live wires hanging uncovered just above entrance door. For the prices charged I would expect a little more care for the atmosphere Ordered a pizza thought i’d give it a go. Very thin pizza, absolutely disgusting. They cooked the dough before even letting the yeast rise. Has given me a bad tummy Unfortunately won’t be returning, lesson learnt

2 hours after ordering and we’re still waiting for our food. We have a little boy who needs to be up for school tomorrow, after 2 phone calls they couldn’t care less. Absolutely disgusting service, there should be a 0 option. Our food finally arrived at 7.50 pm 21/2 hours after ordering and was Luke warm, cold chips and only 2 portions of fries when there’s supposed to be 3. No apologies from the delivery driver and no answer to my phone call to complain. Definitely never ordering from them again. 😡

Very disappointing experience. The service was poor, and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The atmosphere was unpleasant and not welcoming at all. The food was terrible—it tasted old, stale, and seemed like it had been sitting around for a long time. Overall, it was a bad experience from start to finish, and I would not recommend this takeaway.

One of the worst places in town. Gave them several chances. Food per an hour late every time. Food arrives driver looks at you clueless with no answers. The food has been sat for ages, is sweaty and inedible. Clearly cheap ingredients cooked by the incompetent. The manager as 0 accountability for the terrible food or service. Awful. Don’t waste your money.
