We as a family would like to sincerely thank all at Bakers Takeaway and in particular, Francis for the incredible kindness shown to us over the past two nights. Supplying food to the wake house was such a thoughtful and generous gesture, and it was very much appreciated by everyone in the family during such a difficult time. The food was lovely, but more importantly the kindness and compassion shown will not be forgotten. Thank you again Francis and everyone at Bakers for your support and generosity.
While the word "gem" is often abused in eateries' reviews, I cannot find a better one here. It was delicious - both the smoked cod (luv its smell, taste and substance!) and the chips. Served by cheerful staff, priced very reasonably and fried promptly - there's nothing more you'd want from a proper takeaway parlour!
Got the Christmas fries and it was so good. Proper chippy chips and the gravy was a good thickness and flavour was out of this world. Will definitely be back to try the fish and chips and beef burger!
Got chicken strips and a chicken burger and both were very slimey..the chips were OK.. wouldnt be rushing back
