I had home delivery. And this was up there with one of the worst takeaways ever had ! Rice was edible nice. Tikka was salty so salty it burnt the roof of my mouth. The korma was completely inedible. Just tasted like I was served a can of coconut cream. Absolutely disgusting! Onion bajes were like cardboard ! I wouldn't even try the sauces that came with papadams. They looked like they had been sat there for god knows how long. The papadams were lovely and crispy best thing out of the lot. All of this didn't come with a side salad. I was shocked ! I'm adamant this restaurants paying people for good reviews or these people haven't had a decent Indian in years. 0 STARS from me.

I had an excellent experience at **Mint and Mustard in Penarth** and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming—friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure everything was just right. Their service added a really personal touch to the whole visit. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with real care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it really shows in both the quality and presentation. It’s easily some of the best food I’ve had in the area. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal whether you’re on your own, with friends, or with family. Everything came together to create a really memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. A fantastic restaurant all around—highly recommended!

Beautiful meal for our 37th wedding anniversary. Our server Swapnali made our evening very special and presented us with a decorated desert plate for our anniversary. Food, atmosphere and service was excellent.

Delicious food and great flavors! The naan was soft and fresh, the curry rich and comforting, and the tandoori dishes perfectly cooked. Loved the variety of chutneys and sides—everything was authentic and beautifully presented. Definitely a place worth visiting! 😋✨

Just had the vegetarian thali. Every dish tasted amazing. That and a couple of sides was more than enough for two of us. Service very good. Would definitely visit again. Early evening so not too busy.

Wonderful afternoon celebrating my brother in law’s birthday. We were lucky enough to have the restaurant to ourselves, before they opened up for the evening. . Nothing was too much trouble for the guys looking after us. We were able to arrive early to set the tables up and decorate. The adults had the set taster menu, which was delicious. The kids were able to order from the main menu. So everyone’s tastes were catered for. Thank you. Looking forward to visiting again!
