Denise's Fish Bar

First time we have been there in years what a disappointment it turned out to be. While the service was quick and efficient the food was not chips were soggy chewy tasteless and not nice at all threw over half of them in the bin. The battered jumbo sausage the batter was so hard it couldn't be eaten so that was binned also. Only part of the meal edible was the plain jumbo sausage. Such a disappointment and a total waste of £8.80

My new best friend! I've live locally and never tried! Now I have, definitely my new best friends! Food is amazing! Very tasty! Also, being able to separately package salad etc is marvellous!! Sorry no photo, it didn't last! Delivery driver was very professional and polite.

lovely fish and chips. consistent with the portions and taste..reasonable price. bought 4 fish and chips today same as every other time we come up. (tartar sauce on the pic does not come with it just fyi 😀) staff really friendly and helpful. you have to find parking on the side street

I used to really like Denise Fish Bar . Really enjoyed their food. A few months ago I had a meal which was really disappointing. I thought it may be a one off , I didn't order for a good while but really fancied fish and chips which I always liked. It arrived stone cold . The chips were rock hard as was the batter on fish which almost broke a tooth. Either it had been recooked or had been prepared too early and been sat drying out under the warmer. Really sad to see the quality go downhill like this

The menu leaves you absolutely spoilt for choices, and every item on there is outstanding quality. The lovely staff behind the counter are just impeccable. Denises fish bar is my go to takeaway destination!
