The Bell Inn

A really good lunch, the food was hot, plentiful and of a good standard. The pie was delicious. Lovely staff and a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.

We hadn't been here in a while and heard it had new owners so decided to see if anything had changed. We sat outside in the sun and had a lovely meal served by friendly staff. I cant fault a thing, everything was perfect. They have a very large varied menu and good prices so I would recommend to everyone to try it.

Cozy hotel in a central area. Close to some very traditional pubs and along the river. While not well marked, there are several hiking trails near by, including a public foot path across St George's golf course - about 2 miles to get to the coastline. Offers a full breakfast. About a half mile walk from the train station.

Great value for money, generous portions. We had the carvery. One of us was slightly disappointed with only receiving fatty slices, despite most of the meat still being on the bone. Food was tasty though. It would have been nice to be approached sooner (more orders), especially as it was not a particularly busy early evening.

We organised the wake at the bell. The food was excellent. We asked for a 50-50 meat vegetarian split and we got exactly that. Absolutely volumes of food. Lovely food, lovely service lovely people. We had a private room upstairs which was quiet, well laid out. Thank you to everyone you made the day for us.

Nice village pub, great garden space. Had a fantastic evening with local friends after making a special trip from Essex. Many thanks to Ethan for being a great waiter very professional and friendly. Good atmosphere food is good but not award winning. Would return.

Have always enjoyed popping into my local for a drink or family meals, came this afternoon with family for an afternoon drink, sat at the only table that was vacant and not laid up for food service. Half way through our second drink we were approached by a member of bar staff who asked us to move elsewhere as the table in the bar area had been requested by another customer. I have lived in the village for 12 years and although not big drinkers as a family use the pub regularly there was no reserved sign and all other tables were laid up for food service. Well done on making locals feel completely unwelcome
