Tasty Wok Rayleigh

Our order was taken for delivery but 5 minutes later I received a phone call saying the order had been cancelled by the manager— no reason given. When I spoke to the manager she said it was because our address was too far away. When I said it was within a 3 mile radius and shown online as being a 7 minute drive away, she said her driver wouldn’t be able to find it. We’re new to Rayleigh and haven’t used Tasty Wok before and now we never will but we’ve used others many times before with no problems. The manager here was abrupt and rude and cut me off when I tried to explain why we were dependent on delivery and couldn’t collect the meal. I don’t understand the real reason why I was treated with such discourtesy, I was nothing but polite. Maybe the manager had had a bad day but it’s no way to treat a customer. Obviously, I can’t comment on the food, but there was no service and the atmosphere created by the manager was appalling and totally unjustified.

Very timely, friendly driver and food was still hot. This might be my new local!

1st time i have tried tasty wok, very nice and very quick delivery time 👍

This was amazing. Food was very fresh, service was lovely and the food is not very expensive either. Great place to go for a chinese. Portion sizes were perfect.

Food is way better with new ownership and price is very reasonable !
