Al-Karamah Cafe

My missus and I decided to have a lunch date today and we chose to try Al Karamah. We’ve never tried Somali cuisine before but having been recommended by a friend and having seen reviews on social media we decided to give it a try. When we arrived we were immediately made to feel very welcome by the lovely friendly staff. We didn’t realise when we arrived at lunchtime that there was different menus in the day time to the evening but the staff explained what was available and so we decided to try the full Somali breakfast platter. Oh my gosh what an amazing breakfast! I really can’t express just how tasty and comforting the food was. The staff were so nice and so pleased that we loved the food. This was without a doubt one of the very best breakfast/lunch/brunch we’ve ever had and an absolute bargain. We cant wait to return to try the evening menu. Highly recommended

This was truly one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had. The food here isn’t just delicious it’s soul-soothing. Every bite reminded me of the home-cooked meals my mother used to make, full of love, care, and tradition. You can feel the heart in every dish, and that’s something you don’t find often. The flavors were rich, authentic, and deeply comforting it genuinely felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. Thank you for preserving and sharing such beautiful Somali cuisine. You’ve created something very special here, and I can’t wait to come back again and again. May your business continue to grow and bring joy to many others, just like it did for me today!

Recently tried Al-Karamah for the first time and have already been back again since. The service and hospitality provided by the staff is second to none. They really have created a great atmosphere in the restaurant. The food we had was amazing, really tasty and great value for money. I have tried a few options and have been impressed with them all. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going again soon!!

Did you know Sheffield has one of the largest populations of Somali people in the UK? Did you know that this is Sheffields only Somali restaurant? Did you know that the food here was delicious and the staff were so friendly welcoming? Today I found all of these facts out and I have to say, if you want to eat a home style cooked meal that tastes like it’s cooked from the heart, come here. The flavours bursted and melted on my tastebuds and brought me back to my childhood where my mum would feed me the same foods. Highly recommend the hilib and the mango lassi drink.

wow! this was my first time ever trying somali food and i’m honoured. the food was so good i’ll be thinking about it all week! the staff were amazing, super warm and inviting. i can’t believe ive spent so long without somali food in my life. i never want to be without it again

I am more than impressed by this Cafe. The food is delicious and wholesome, staff are warm, friendly and always smiling. They make you feel at home. This now my favourite restaurant
