Booked a last minute meal for family of 11 last night, which they had no issues catering for in the short time that they was given. Service with a smile from all members of the team. Was very surprised with the size of the portions of the meals you got as you don’t see many places anymore giving you extremely good value for your money absolute credit to themselves would highly recommend this for a great meal at a great deal.
We've just been to a wedding reception at the Black Horse and the staff are the most accommodating, kind and helpful people we've ever dealt with. We had an absolute blast and the staff made every part of the planning and the night itself seamless. Would give them all 10* if I could.
Visited here for the "festive fayre" and it was rather underwhelming to be honest. The food was pre ordered and getting brought out to us before the whole party had arrived and we had even received our drinks. Obviously because the food had been ready for sometime the fried brie was cold. I had pigs and blankets for starter and they were okay the salad was a bit pointless and mediocre. I choose the festive parmo for main, and it wasn’t the best, nothing tasted fresh and it looks abit of a mess disappointing from somewhere that markets themselves on parmos. Everyone else had the Christmas dinner and that was again just alright. I got the feeling we were the final booking for the day and we were getting rushed through so the staff can leave which makes for a very unwelcoming atmosphere. All in all 3/5 not amazing not terrible. DFR X
Been a few times now and never disappointed. Went for a family meal recently for a birthday celebration and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, food is gorgeous, excellent value for money, great atmosphere - highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
