We had fixed price menu and ordered babaganush, vine leave rolls, mixed grill, moussaka, baklava and chocolate pudding. And Efes beer and white wine for pairing, and a Turkish coffee to end it. Everything was fresh, including the bread for babaganush.

Wonderful discovery for late lunch, early dinner. Lambs liver! Oh my. The hummus was superb, tried some Turkish wine as well. The waiter was so helpful. Highly recommended.

A lovely place with delicious food and welcoming service. We enjoyed a family dinner for 4, ordered cold meza, stuffed vine leaves, grilled fish and chicken kebab. Everything was very fresh and full of flavour. The staff were respectful and helpful. Some restaurants that serve grilled food can feel too hot but we were nicely surprised by pleasantly air conditioned space. Well looked after and clean. We will be coming back.

My manager and I decided to have dinner at Turquoise Kitchen in Stratford-upon-Avon because we both enjoy Turkish cuisine. We were seated immediately at a nice table by the window, and the restaurant was about half full. We started with the hummus and freshly baked bread, which was enjoyable. For our main courses, we ordered the Adana Kebab and the Mixed Kebab. Once we finished our appetizer, our mains arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing. The Adana Kebab on both plates was extremely dry. It tasted as though it had either been cooked earlier and reheated on the grill or simply overcooked to the point that it had lost all of its juiciness. The side salad was equally underwhelming—it had no dressing and looked as though it had been sitting for quite some time. Another disappointment was the service. Our server never came back to check whether we were enjoying our meals or if everything was satisfactory after the food was served. When we finished eating, the server came to clear our plates. I took the opportunity to politely share my feedback about the dry Adana Kebab. She apologized and took the plates away. A minute later, the restaurant manager (or owner) came to our table. Instead of apologizing for our experience, he immediately defended the kitchen, explaining that they never serve reheated kebabs and suggesting that, because the restaurant can get very busy, the chef may simply have overcooked the meat. While I appreciated the explanation, there was no acknowledgment of the poor dining experience, no genuine apology, and no gesture of goodwill such as offering a replacement, dessert, or even a small discount. We were simply presented with the full bill. I always appreciate restaurants that welcome constructive feedback as an opportunity to improve. Unfortunately, based on this experience, it felt as though management was more interested in defending the kitchen than listening to the customer. While the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and our appetizer was good, the quality of the main course and the way our concerns were handled left us disappointed.
