A lovely restaurant with lovely food The service was amazing , Liv the waitress was so helpful And charming We had fish 🐟 and chips and mushy peas The sauce that came with it was amazing. The batter was the crisp crispiest. Ever. The fish was fresh and delicious and arrived in no time at all fantastic. A thoroughly charming and lovely restaurant well worth a visit They do an afternoon deal With a free drink seriously good value for money considering the quality of the food

This hotel / restaurant is right in the city centre. Next to 3 old red phone boxes so easy to spot. We came down by public transport so I can't comment on nearby car parking facilities. There are none available outside. The restaurant space is quite small & narrow, on 2 levels. We'd booked a table & I'd recommend that you do too (although I did see a few walk ins.) The menu choices were varied but we both had "Japanese Fish & Chip" sandwiches - spiced white fish goujons with seaweed tartar sauce. The chips on the side very good. I especially liked that, where possible, they use locally sourced ingredients. Even the malt vinegar on the table was made in Cornwall. Service was swift & friendly.

Fantastic service. Fabulous food. Wonderful service. The reception we got on arrival is beyond compare. The room is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We popped into the restaurant early on a Saturday night, and they were able to squeeze us in, we had the steak sizzlers, so tasty and filling, all the staff we friendly and accommodating.

Took our Dad to Manning's for his 80th last Saturday night and wasn't disappointed. Wow. Absolutely stunning restaurant at this hotel. The food was outstanding. If I could afford to eat here each week I would. Haha. Friendly funny staff made us feel at home and kept the drinks coming. Right in the centre of Truro Cornwall this place can't be missed.

We ate from the market menu and I had a delicious roast beef followed by elderflower and blackcurrant sorbet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed it. Ate there again today and had the lamb special which was also delicious. I highly recommend eating here.
