Taste of Cyprus Restaurant

Went there on a date, ordered chicken souvla and some halloumi fries as a starter, the chicken was spot on and the portion as always was more than enough for 2 people.(we asked if we could get it on 2 separate dishes) The waiter was such a nice lad, checked on us to see everything is good and gave us complimentary baklava in the end ! Overall a great experience and it is highly recommended for locals.

Wouldn't waste my money! This is a £36 order Big tray costing £23 and little one costing £13 no different other than 3 slices of halloumi and more potato's. Looks wise looks like a microwave meal with grated cheese on top. Without writing to much photos speaks for its self! When ringing them the guy on the phone was very rude and said the chicken is marinated and seasoned and the cheesy chips are the way they do them. No sauces served with this apart from 2 bread and tiny box of salad What a very dry bland looking meal!

Very very bad. I ordered 2 XL pork souvlaki and 1 LG chicken souvlaki 2 chips and it cost me £66.75. But this is not the main issue. I called and made the order and I gave them a specific time and hour later for collection. On arrival they didn't even had my order on the charcoal and they just placed it on. Mind you they had nothing else to prepare as when they placed it on it was only my order. Half an hour later they started making excuses for being late. Not good service very very expensive and for sure I will not be going back.

Today, 27th March 2026 my partner went to Taste of Cyprus bakery. My partner ordered two sandwiches and a coffee. The staff were not welcoming and seemed to be having an argument with each other. My partner is type 1 diabetic and has to inject insulin before he eats, he ordered our food and went to a corner away from other people in the bakery to inject. A woman who works at the bakery discriminated against him and accused him of being ‘on the jabs’ and suggested he should have done it ‘out the back’! I cannot believe that this has just happened, this is absolutely ridiculous behaviour. We will never return and will post about this over our social media. Disgusting.

I had the most delicious meal at Taste of Cyprus! The food was fresh, excellent portions too. Can’t wait to come back again!
