Dim Sum Tea

Authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum made with great care and attention to detail. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and full of traditional flavours. The fried noodles were especially outstanding—perfectly cooked with an amazing texture and rich taste. They were definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. This is a restaurant I would happily visit again and again. Highly recommended!

Authentic dim sum and Cantonese food. Everything tasted fresh! Malay cake was recommended, beef stomach satay had a nice flavour, and the seaweed spring rolls were a good surprise. Choi sum with garlic was simple but done right. Beef satay crispy noodles were solid, and the HK milk tea hit the spot. Would come back 👍

Must try stir-fry beef ho fun, Singapore vermicelli, fried crispy prawn won ton, fried mixed meat dumplings & yam paste dumplings. The best. HK style dishes I had ever tried in the UK so far. The price is very reasonable.

This was my second visit to Dim Sum Tea. The first time I came with my husband on a weekday and we really loved it. The dim sum were freshly made. My favourites were taro dumplings 芋角 and salty crispy dumplings 鹹水角. They were freshly fried and very delicious. We were already very full but still finished them all. The wontons 雲吞 were especially impressive. Each one had a big prawn inside, larger than we expected, and they were very crispy and tasty. Yesterday I came again with my daughter to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was a Saturday. The shredded pork fried noodles 肉絲炒麵 and sweet and sour pork 咕嚕肉 were excellent and very traditional in flavour. However, the service felt quite different compared with our weekday visit. We were only allowed to order once and everything felt a bit rushed. Some of the fried dishes were also not as crispy as the first time. It seemed the restaurant might not have enough staff during busy weekends. Although we ordered quite a lot, we were asked to clear the table quickly once the staff started tidying up, which made us feel a little rushed to leave. I think this part could be improved. Overall the food is still very good, authentic and traditional. My daughter and I still enjoyed the meal. We will prefer to come back again during weekday, and hopefully the weekend service can improve so the experience can be just as nice as our weekday visit.

recommend booking by phone for the weekend lunch especially 12:00. all the dim sum are delicious. fire beef ho fun and steam spare rib rice is my favorite
