This was a pleasant surprise and the food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed and would come again. Had 3 courses, Prawn Pil Pil, Monkfish and lemon tarte which was beautiful. Wine selection is also crazy, only thing it was missing is a sommelier.

A delightful experience - we had a pre event meal and Tom and his team were exceptional, from the moment I arrived (45 mins before opening time!) in readiness for my group of 11-🫣) we felt relaxed and welcome. The food was served timely and everyone enjoyed it. It’s a great local gem and I will be back many times. Thank you!

First time eating here. Birthday lunch with friends, the food was amazing ! The decor has a natural , calm, relaxed atmosphere. Stacey looked after us so well, very attentive, knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu and wine list. Nothing was too much trouble. She also took it on herself to arrange Happy Birthday to be written on my friend’s desert plate, what a lovely touch. Will definitely be eating there again.

Gorgeous lunch today at the Coast and such good value. Service was excellent, Thomas was super friendly and professional. Our food was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will be visiting again.

Really lovely restaurant and beautiful food! Visited again this week - The staff really are excellent! Just the right amount of friendly, pleasant and helpful as well as extremely professional!

Our first visit and we were not disappointed! The decor is beautiful, all the staff were really friendly and presentably dressed and importantly the food was delicious! Will definitely return and recommend

We dined on Saturday night and had a wonderful meal. We were served by Tom, who really made our experience memorable. He was chatty, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu, everything hospitality seems to have been losing over the years. The food was high quality, and you could tell it was all fresh. I had the crab to start and the lamb for my main, and I’ll definitely be back for it again. We had the house Pinot for our wine, which was reasonably priced and perfectly dry. The only negatives I could mention were that it was quite quiet for a Saturday night (although it was a bank holiday, so perhaps people had gone away) and the gentleman who showed us to our table seemed a little rude, though I think he may simply have been in a rush. Independent restaurants like this deserve to keep their doors open. I couldn’t recommend The Coast more highly!
