Sangams

By far the best curry house we go to, the food is packed with flavour and the portion sizes, generous. Mixed kebab starter is a must. The service was excellent, not rushed and tailored to our pace. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, as they have been for the 30 years we have been going to Sangams. The bill was £60 for two of us, which is definitely value for money at today’s prices. Can’t wait to go back.

Me and my friend cams here after a long hike in the Peak District and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to unwind. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and great value for money based on the generous portion sizes and actual quality; it all felt fresh and organic. The atmosphere was homely and whoever chose the music deserves praise 👌🏼

Amazing food and amazing service. The chef recommended me the lamb broochi and it was delicous! Best meal I've had in Hathersage. Perfect after a long day of hiking and when you need a break from traditional English cuisine.

One of my favourite Indian restaurants even though it's a 40 minute drive for us, the food is fantastic and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Well worth a visit

I called up with a large order for a large group of people just as they opened. Although we had simplified our order, and didn't want to collect for 2 hours, their kitchen must have been put under some pressure by 19 Biryanis. They were totally unflappable. The food was ready exactly when we wanted it to be. And all the food was carefully labelled and the vegetarian stuff was all in a separate bag - which was a nice additional touch and provided additional reassurance to the non-meat eaters. Our group loved the food - and thought I was fantastic for having organised such a complex order. The credit should all go to Sangams.
